Welcome to fwmabl.com, the home of the Fort Wayne Men's Adult Baseball League. This is a new site and is being constantly updated. 

The 2012 Season is about to kick off. May 20th is Opening Day 2012!! The Reds and Marlins play at St. Joe Little League, the Brewers and Cubs play at Woodland High School, and the Royals and Nationals play at Shoaff Park. All games start at 1pm. Please come out and enjoy the nice weather and watch your team play. Please refer to the schedule for directions to each field.

Baseball in Fort Wayne

The FWMABL is a Fort Wayne based baseball league that plays a 22 game season starting in May and ending in August. We play double headers on Sundays which start at 1pm. Our tournament starts in mid August and the season ends with our All-Star game, which is usually held at Parkview Field in downtown Fort Wayne. It typically costs players anywhere from $100 - $175 a year to play the entire season. Aside from a few rule changes, the FWMABL conforms to standard baseball rules. Major league style or replica uniforms are worn, and teams are expected to keep accurate statistics.

FWMABL members are serious amateur athletes of various skill levels. They exhibit a special commitment in their chosen sports, in their professions, and as contributors to the well-being of their communities.

New for the 2012 season is the addition of wood bats. With the national rules changing in 2013, the FWMABL wants to be proactive and move forward to an ALL WOOD league. So this year we will be playing with 100% wood bats. It will be an exciting time for our league.
